1. Introduction

AgentHut.ai ("AgentHut", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using AgentHut, you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

When you create an account (via Clerk), we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture. You may also provide a username and contributor bio.

2.2 Usage data

We collect download counts, page views, search queries, and interaction events (ratings, comments) to improve the platform and power analytics.

2.3 Payment information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. AgentHut never stores full card numbers. We receive metadata such as subscription status, plan, and transaction IDs.

2.4 Agent content

Agent files you upload are stored on AWS S3. Private agents are accessible only to you. Public agents are visible to all users after admin approval.

3. How we use your information

• To operate and personalise the AgentHut platform
• To process subscriptions and contributor payouts via Stripe
• To enforce download quotas and private agent limits
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms
• To send transactional emails (download confirmations, payout notifications)
• To improve search relevance and agent recommendations
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiles.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers necessary to run the platform:

• Clerk — authentication and identity management
• Stripe — payment processing and Connect payouts
• AWS S3 — secure file storage
• Neon (PostgreSQL) — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery

Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement consistent with GDPR requirements.

5. Cookies & tracking

AgentHut uses essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics (if enabled) use anonymised, aggregated data with no cross-site tracking.

6. Data retention

• Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after deletion
• Agent files are deleted from S3 within 30 days of agent removal
• Download and payment records are retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — update inaccurate data via your account settings
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — export your agent files and usage data
• Objection — opt out of non-essential processing

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@agenthut.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

AgentHut uses HTTPS, database row-level security, short-lived presigned S3 URLs, and access-controlled APIs to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@agenthut.ai.

9. Children's privacy

AgentHut is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or a banner notice on the platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
